Susan, what books did you get?!? I see Becoming the Villainess, which I have read and really like, but I can't tell what the other ones are! I'm ready for a book-buying binge myself and I need some inspiration!
I am currently looking forward to reading (among others):
Becoming the Villainess by Jeannine Hall Gailey
Ariel by Sylvia Plath
Kissing the Witch by Emma Donoghue
The Price of Salt by Patricia Highsmith
Generation Loss by Elizabeth Hand
The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter
Taking Up the Runes by Diana Paxson
etc, etc. . .I love a good book-buying binge. . .now that's what cheers me up!
I also still have two gift cards for Borders to go and spend (and I'll probably go and buy more books before I even finish those listed above--sigh! I admit I'm addicted. . .tee hee. . .)
You know, next time we have a literary planning session, we should meet up at the bookstore. . .of course, we'd both leave completely broke!
